As Saint Dnyaneshwar says 'Remove the darkness of all the ignorance in our society', we laid foundation for our educational dream, entitled as 'Saint Dnyaneshwar Shikshan Sanstha' at Islampur, dist. Sangli. To fulfill such vision we put before us the mission to mould a self-reliant generation through value based education with a pride and predilection for our cultural heritage and undertaking personality development through the mingling of science, culture and philosophy.

The village of Hatkanangale needed an educational institution which can impart higher education to the students from surrounding rural area. The students mainly comprised of girls and students from weaker sections of the society who were thirsty of such an opportunity. Hence, by directing ourselves towards this vision, we established the Arts, Commerce & Science College at rural area of Hatkanangale in dist. Kolhapur. We created a standard infrastructure for the purpose in which students would feel pride of our college and higher education in general. Then, we set up specific goals before us to fulfill the mission which would ultimately actualize our vision.

We have created and provided a complete, updated and advance educational structure/infrastructure to the learners of rural area to promote development of the person, the family and the society through quality education and to carry and extend quality education to the maximum areas of deprived communities and girls in rural area.

With updating ourselves with the modern educational aids and ICT infrastructure, we inculcate in the students thirst for modern & global knowledge, scientific attitude among the students. Besides, by undertaking vast extension activities along with the cultural and national celebrations we mold the minds and hearts of our students with the awareness for the preservation of environment, pride of cultural ethos, quest for excellence and respect & commitment towards the society and our nation.

ICT and information flow is the rule of the time. Hence, we try to empower students with advance modes of learning & skills, updated information-technologies and personality skills. At the same time, we also direct ourselves to inculcate in students a sense of devotion and selfless service to the society, state and nation.

Thus, to actualize our vision and realize the mission we always keep ourselves ready to strive for the development of students by value education and motivate them towards the cause of national development.
